Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 April 2026
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before accessing or using any part of the WEDC platform. By creating an account, subscribing to a membership plan, or using any WEDC content or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Member" or "you") and WEDC ("WEDC," "we," "us," or "our"), the operator of the digital membership platform available at wedc.app (the "Platform"). By clicking "I agree," completing a subscription purchase, or accessing member-only content, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy, each of which is incorporated herein by reference.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to members by email at least fourteen (14) days in advance of taking effect. Your continued use of the Platform following such notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
WEDC provides a digital subscription membership offering educational content, downloadable software utility applications, and technical resources. The Platform focuses on topics including AI automation, cloud infrastructure, privacy tools, Linux systems, and self-hosted technologies. Members receive access to:
- Educational content: Technical tutorials, written guides, video walkthroughs, and configuration references covering a range of developer and infrastructure topics, updated on a regular basis.
- Downloadable software utilities: Pre-compiled utility applications, command-line tools, and scripts distributed in binary and source-code form, signed and checksummed for integrity verification.
- Configuration resources: Infrastructure-as-code templates, Ansible playbooks, Docker Compose stacks, Terraform modules, and other configuration guides designed for self-hosted deployments.
- Ongoing updates: Continuous library expansion through weekly content additions and monthly configuration release bundles (for Pro and Team tier members).
WEDC reserves the right to modify, add, or discontinue specific content items or features within the membership with reasonable notice. The overall character of the membership as a technical resource library will not be materially altered without advance notification.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to create a WEDC account or subscribe to a membership plan. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
- You are not subject to any trade sanctions or export restrictions that would prohibit you from receiving services from WEDC.
- All information you provide in connection with your account is accurate, complete, and current.
4. Account Registration
To access member content, you must create a WEDC account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and to keep this information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us immediately at support@wedc.app if you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account. WEDC will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.
Account sharing is not permitted on the Personal and Pro plans. Each seat on the Team plan is intended for a single individual. Sharing credentials with users outside your licensed seat count may result in account suspension.
5. Subscription, Billing & Cancellation
Merchant of Record. Subscription billing for WEDC membership is handled exclusively by Paddle.com Inc. as our authorized Merchant of Record. Paddle processes all payments, issues receipts and invoices, handles tax calculation, and manages subscription lifecycle events. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Use as they apply to payment processing.
Subscription tiers. WEDC offers three membership tiers — Personal, Pro, and Team — billed on a monthly recurring basis in US Dollars (USD). Current pricing is listed on the Pricing page and is subject to change with thirty (30) days' advance notice to active subscribers.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You authorize Paddle to charge your payment method on file for the applicable subscription fee at each renewal.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time by accessing the Paddle customer portal linked from your WEDC account settings, or by contacting support@wedc.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period; you will retain access to member content through that date. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods unless you are within the 14-day refund window described in our Refund Policy.
Price changes. WEDC reserves the right to adjust subscription prices. Active subscribers will be notified of price changes at least thirty (30) days in advance; continued subscription after the notified effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Taxes. Paddle calculates and collects applicable sales tax, VAT, or similar taxes based on your jurisdiction and remits them to the appropriate authorities. Displayed prices may be exclusive or inclusive of tax depending on your region.
6. Intellectual Property
All content published on the WEDC Platform — including but not limited to tutorials, guides, utility application code, configuration files, and any associated documentation — is the intellectual property of WEDC or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
As a member in good standing, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Access and read educational content for your personal and professional use.
- Download and use utility applications and configuration files on devices you own or control, within the limits of your membership tier.
This license does not permit you to: reproduce or distribute WEDC content publicly; sublicense, sell, or transfer your access; create derivative works from WEDC content for redistribution; or use WEDC content in a manner that competes with WEDC's services.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the WEDC Platform to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any WEDC utility application beyond what is explicitly permitted by applicable law.
- Share, resell, or redistribute membership credentials or downloadable content to individuals outside your licensed seat count.
- Use automated tools to scrape, bulk-download, or mirror the WEDC content library.
- Upload, transmit, or distribute any harmful software, malicious code, or content that violates applicable law.
- Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Platform's infrastructure or security.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
- Use the Platform for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms.
Violation of these acceptable use provisions may result in immediate suspension or termination of your membership without refund.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Disclaimer of warranties. The Platform and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. WEDC does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Technical content. Configuration guides, code samples, and utility applications are provided for educational and informational purposes. WEDC makes no warranty that such content is suitable for any particular production environment, secure against all vulnerabilities, or compliant with all applicable regulations in your jurisdiction. You assume full responsibility for testing and validating any content before deploying it in a production system.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WEDC, its affiliates, directors, employees, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Platform, even if WEDC has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall WEDC's aggregate liability to you for all claims arising under these Terms exceed the total amount you paid to WEDC in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Modifications to the Service
WEDC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of material changes. In the event of a permanent discontinuation of the membership service, active subscribers will receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of their current billing period.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for the resolution of any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation or mediation.
If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction that provides for mandatory consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by contract (including, without limitation, the European Union or United Kingdom), those laws will apply to the extent they conflict with these Terms.
11. General Provisions
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WEDC with respect to the Platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable; the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your account or your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. WEDC may assign its rights under these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets.
